Umeda 梅田 in Osaka 大阪 is winding down late night as people head home after a long day at the office. This image came about while waiting in the shadows for the right moment that best gave the true feel of the environment. From the railway bridge above to the yellow hue of the street lights that cast the shadows of the people waiting to cross along with their postures for me defined a scene that plays out every night in the bustling city of Osaka.
Minoo Park 箕面公園 also known as (Minoh Park / Mino Park) is located 30min from downtown Osaka Japan via train. This is a quick getaway spot for locals to get some walking or hiking away from the bustling city life. A waterfall greets visitors at the end of the hike that takes about 30mins depending on pace. A stream flows along the entire trail that is surrounded with trees and bird calls. A few tourist shops line the trail selling food, drinks, snacks and gifts. The park can be accessed from Minoo Station off the Hankyu Minoo Line. There is No Fee to enter the park.
